    Hostgator sucks big time

    I have a site hosted on hostgator and it is nightmare after nightmare. For example I recently updated wordpress to 4.9 via wordpress dashboard… but now when I access wp-admin just get 500 internal server error. Uninstalled all plugins themes, re-uploaded entire wordpress again to see if something was broken… nope just hostgator is not fit for purpose!! I really would not recommend anyone use this rubbish hsoting company.. save your self the stress I say 🙁

    No good!

    My site is always down on hostgator.. I try contacting support and they always make out that it is my fault..even when it so obviously isnt as all I am hosting is a small wordpress site but their servers just cannot handle that. Pathetic. I have since moved hosts and will never be using their service again.. I would strongly suggest anyone thinking of going with them to think again.

    I am so angry right now. Hostgator totally screwed up my site for no reason! I woke up today and my site just says 500 internal error. I got in touch with their support and they were no help whatsoever.. heck I knew more about webhosting than the person I was talking to. I have to start from complete scratch now on another host because I didn’t back up my site. Avoid at all costs hostgator does not respect is customers and breaks your site.

    Avoid if you know whats good for you

    I have spent all day trying to fix my site after HOSTGATOR BROKE IT. Hostgators support was no help at all. The only help that they will ever get from them is that you should upgrade your hosting package to fix the problem… making more money out of you is all they are bothered about! I would stay away from these scammers.
